I am a Human-Computer Interaction researcher working at the intersection of Ubiquitous Computing, Personal Health Informatics, and Personal Data Visualization. Combining my multidisciplinary knowledge in Computer Science and Visual Communication Design, I design and develop computing systems for self-tracking that empower people in the loop of human-data interaction in self-tracking: the collection and exploration of personal data.
I received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (2012-2019, advised by Jinwook Seo), and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design (2007-2011) from Seoul National University.
I am a recipient of Korea International Postdoc Fellowship supported by National Research Foundation of Korea in 2019. I received a Best of CHI Honorable Mention award at ACM CHI 2021.
